i’ve always said in my second life i’d like to open up a restaurant/ lounge/ coffee house. well, hopefully it can happen (in tandem or post my public health career) in this lifetime. so, i decided to create a tumblr solely dedicated to that dream. the menu would be small and consist of mostly veggie/ vegan options (partly because that’s all i’ve been eating for the past two weeks, and also because i can cook these dishes)— haha! so here’s what i have so far:

• caprese salad
• vegan lasagna
• baked sweet potatoes 
• roasted red potatoes
• coffee and tea varities 
• chicken cheese steaks (made with fresh bread and veggies) <—- thabomb.com
• waffles (with fruit toppings)
• turkey bacon 
• spinach and artichoke dip 
• bruschetta on toasted french bread baguette  

the ambiance is pretty hard to describe in one word (mostly because i draw inspiration from so many places i’ve visited and frequent). i think most people (especially my particular demographic) would love because i don’t think too many places have been able to ‘nail’ exactly what i’ve been looking for in this space.
